At Brick Kiln Farm we offer camping and glamping in association with Magical Camping. We are situated in unspoilt, quiet Suffolk countryside with 360-degree views over fields on the outskirts of Campsea Ashe and Wickham Market.

Our one-acre grass, hedged campsite, which is suitable for tents and caravans, is certified by The Camping and Caravanning Club. We may be off the beaten track, but we are within easy reach of the A12 taking you to famous Suffolk places; Woodbridge, Framlingham, Snape, Aldeburgh and Southwold to name but a few.

We specialise in groups of families or friends and ensure that the children always come first. 
They can play, run around, make dens, dig holes, get wet or muddy climb trees and generally do as they were designed to do.

The Orchard Campsite

Framlingham Castle was built by the Normans in the 12th Century and was home to the dukes of Norfolk for over 400 years (and yes, it's in Suffolk!).
But the castle didn't just feature in Norman times, as it was where Mary Tudor was crowned queen...even if her reign was relatively short.
Today you can walk around the massive castle walls, which have stood for more than 800 years.
There is also a workhouse at Framlingham, which you can visit and see how the town's poorest worked for their keep back from the 17th to 19th centuries.

Want to recreate those childhood holidays that you thought were just distant memories?  
Relax and kick-back whilst your children explore the 3-acre meadow, build dens, make lifelong friends, discover butterflies, pick strawberries, toast marshmallows on the campfire and generally get back to nature.  And if you can bear to tear yourself away, the fabulous seaside towns and beaches of Southwold and Walberswick are a gentle 10 miles away, great for crabbing, paddling, sandcastles and, of course, fish and chips.

We aim to offer all you could want for an enjoyable and relaxing stay, with our fun cob pizza oven as well as the covered safari kitchen, an ace barn with full-sized table tennis and table football, bikes and maps to borrow, crabbing lines and buckets and spades, armchairs and a library of books plus sensible things like charging points, wi-fi, lovely hot showers and flushing loos. 

The 5 yurts are generously spaced in a 3-acre meadow, each sitting on raised decking with its own camping gas stove, campfire and bar-b-q.  Inside, each yurt has a full-sized double bed and single futons for children, complete with lovely warm duvets and blankets for cooler nights, though with the wood-burner going you should be toasty warm!  
We aim to have everything here that you need for a great break, so all you need to worry about is packing your children's favourite toys; on-site you'll find all your cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery, cafetiere (we know how important a good cup of coffee is), bedding, travel cots, matches, fire-lighters, lanterns, pizza equipment and more....
What better than to sit out as the sun goes down, enjoying an al-fresco meal as you watch the swallows skim the meadow and then see the bats come out as dusk settles, whilst the tawny owls hoot in the trees and then star-gaze the with the Milky Way arcing above.  In the morning, take a luxurious Woodland Shower - with piping hot water this is a delight at any time of the day (or night) - and you can hear the bullfinches whistling and occasionally see a rabbit hopping through.  Heaven!  
There's plenty to do around and about and we have lots of information once you get here as well as on our website.  We're always happy to recommend local favourites and our guests are great at sharing their favourite things with us too.

Swattesfield is a campsite and a glampsite that's situated in the Waveney Valley in Suffolk it's been featured in the Cool Camping guide and named as one of the 10 Best UK Campsites by The Guardian - Ed Byrne stayed here with his son for their very first camping trip together - Camping Magazine Sept 2014. It's also listed in Cool Camping with Kids and as <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health-fitness/mind/glampers-take-note-britains-15-best-mild-camping-spots/swattesfield/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">one of the top 15 "mild" campsites by the Telegraph</a>.

Swattesfield benefits from plenty of space yet has an intimate feel, with only a handful of glamping accommodation and around 15 pitches allowed at any one time, this is a campsite that oozes calm and relaxation. There’s plenty of space with no marked pitches and the option to camp where you’d like; in the woods, under the walnut tree, in the glade or by the hedgerow bursting with blackberries in late summer.

Unique to Swattesfield are our Pixie Huts, each has four peek-a-boo windows, a comfy full-sized double bed and two smaller beds for any little imps. With their own decking area and dining table and over-looking the South facing skies of Suffolk you'll soak up the best of the sunny days. The huts have their own picnic tables, chimenea and all your cooking facilities including a Pizza Oven for all campers to use. These really are the new way to camp; cosy, cutesy and a great place to watch the kids expend their energy!

Also on offer are three Boutique Bell Tents with all the creature comforts you’d need to have a thoroughly enjoyable stay. At five metres across these are big enough for four or five and have a full-size comfy double bed as well as two or three fold-out child beds. Supplied by SoulPad our Bell Tents have coir matting throughout with torch lanterns, a gas hob and all your cooking equipment, your very own picnic table and fire pit.

Our latest edition is our converted Suffolk Hay Cart a vast improvement on Constable's offering! It has been converted in the style of a shepherds hut and sleeps four and has all the cooking equipment you'll need and with its own picnic table and fire pit.

Swattesfield is a delightful countryside campsite in North Suffolk making it the ideal spot to stay and explore the Waveney valley and the local market town of Diss with its popular auction house T.W.Gazes; auctions Friday and specialist auctions on Saturdays, and viewings on Thursdays. Mainline trains are direct from London Liverpool Street to Diss station, which is 6 miles from Swattesfield Campsite.

With 12 miles of walks directly accessed from the site and an 11th Century pub, Forge Cafe and Coach House restaurant within 25 minutes walking distance there’s more than enough to keep you fed and watered. There’s even a play area 15 minutes easy stroll away for the kids as well fishing lakes a little further afield. The market town of Eye is only 5 minutes away and all this with an easy train ride from London Liverpool Street and only an hour from Cambridge, 30 minutes from Norwich and 55 minutes from Southwold and Aldeburgh, Swattesfield Campsite is an ideal place to have a relaxing break.

Ling’s Meadow is a small, friendly and relaxed eco campsite on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. Our passion is the outdoors and living sustainably within it, and we are particularly keen to encourage kids to get out and explore. We have three of our own and they provide us with lots of new ideas!

Disappearing amongst 4 acres of meadow grass are five tent pitches, two pre-pitched bell tents, a canvas StarDome and a Living van &amp; Shepherd’s hut. All have their own seating areas and fire pits with grills for cooking. For a true Slow camping adventure we have set the pre-pitched bells up with their own canvas tarp bushcamp shelter, kindling rocket stoves, kelly kettles and cast iron pans.

We are always experimenting with new alternative technology and have two spacious composting loos and a solar and wood heated shower on site. We are off-grid and use solar power to provide lighting and power for a small freezer for freezer blocks. The campsite is a car-free zone.
The timber framed camp kitchen is the central hub of the site and here you will find ideas for days out, local maps, walking and cycling routes, wildlife spotter guides and a bug hunting kit. Campers are helping us to monitor the species on our meadow so there is also a logbook to make a note of your discoveries.

One of the favourite games on the campsite is running along the mown paths in the meadow grass, but we also have an explorer area with logs for climbing on and a mud kitchen. You will also find the stick den here and materials to make it your own.

Just next door to the campsite are green lanes with walks to local shops, child-friendly pubs and a park with tree trunks to climb on. You can explore our 80 acre farm on a walk just for our campers. It takes you past our clover fields and herbal leys and our alpacas and sheep. We have a bike shelter to store your bikes and even some to borrow for free if you fancy exploring further afield!

Toasting marshmallows around the communal campfire is a must when you are camping and we also have a cob pizza oven so that you can have a go at making and cooking your favourite pizzas. Our local farm shop is just down the road and has all the supplies that you need for your cooked breakfast or BBQ.

Rushbanks Farm Caravan and Camping Site is set in the heart of Dedham Vale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The region was immortalised by the famous paintings of John Constable, and is thus known as ‘Constable Country.`

Rushbanks Farm is the only official site on the banks of the River Stour, close to the charming Suffolk village of Nayland which is characterised by picturesque 15th-century buildings.

It is a site with good facilities offering an original and family-friendly atmosphere, especially catering for boaters and canoeists. The river is wide and deep and there are a mile and a half of unobstructed water. There are several landing stages, and launching over the bank is easy.

A public footpath also crosses our farm, with several walking trails to choose from, including a forty-minute cross-country walk to the pub.

Rushbanks Farm welcomes families who want to enjoy themselves, whilst providing many opportunities for nature lovers and those who want to explore the great outdoors – or others who just want to relax and wind down around a campfire under the stars at night.

Reedham Ferry Touring Park is near Norwich and Great Yarmouth, in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
This is a small campsite with flat pitches.
