Barnutopia
Barnutopia is set in the stunning countryside of the Welsh borderlands on the Shropshire - Powys border. Currently offering 3 luxury yurts, a fully furnished stable and a comfortable dome tent, the idyllic setting is perfect for a rural adventure in total comfort. Seventy per cent of bookings are families with children. Children love exploring and meeting our animals. Felix and Fiona are our kunekune pigs, Oscar, Pinky & Perky our cats, Ziva our dog and Padron & Spirit our horses. There's a TV lounge with Freeview and a DVD player for some down-time and free Wi-Fi to stay connected if you need to. All glamping units are fully furnished with real beds, power, lighting, heating and free Wi-Fi. Beds are made up and towels are provided.
Shared facilities include a well-equipped camp kitchen, breakfast room, TV lounge and bathroom.

Campfire Details
We have several fire pits available for campfires. During bad weather, it is possible to have a fire safely inside our tall Dutch barn. One basket of logs is provided free of charge and further baskets are £5 each. Many glampers cook over the fire pits using trivets provided.Shower Details
We have one bathroom in the main farmhouse about 50 m maximum from the yurts. Closer to the stable. It is an excellent bathroom with toilet, hand basin and power shower. Use of the shower is free. However, we are in a rural location on private water supply and your help with conserving water is appreciated. The bathroom is more than adequate for everyone to wash daily and teeth can be cleaned in the kitchen shack, also. But the shower is not designed for everyone on site to take showers every day. Don't forget you're camping, and showers aren't compulsory. :-) During very busy periods we hire a second portable toilet (the nice flushing kind) and we have submitted a planning application to install massive water storage tanks, a larger septic system and a shower block.Facilities

We are open all year round and prices vary depend on the glamping unit selected, the days of the week and the time of year. Summer season prices are from £35 per night midweek in the big yellow tent to £120 per night for 2 weekend in our largest yurt. We offer low season discounts and frequent promotions and deals.

Directions
Use the postcode only in your GPS or smartphone map. Follow signs for Llansilin, Powys from Oswestry, Shropshire. When in the village of Llansilin, take School Lane (east) and Barnutopia is 0.6 miles up the lane on the left-hand side. If your GPS directs you down a road marked "Unsuitable for Vehicles" DO NOT go there. It really is unsuitable and there is no way through to us. We are on a tarmac road all the way to our gate and into the yard.
