Kenilworth Castle
Kenilworth's Castle's 900-year history saw it as a medieval fortress to an Elizabethan palace. Now it's a great day out to take the kids (voted one of the top 10 English Heritage family attractions).
You can visit the tower that Leceister built to woo Queen Elizabeth I, or visit the much older Normal Keep, and then take the kids to the stables to see the family-friendly displays of castle life.
