Kenilworth's Castle's 900-year history saw it as a medieval fortress to an Elizabethan palace.
Now it's a great day out to take the kids (voted one of the top 10 English Heritage family attractions).

You can visit the tower that Leceister built to woo Queen Elizabeth I, or visit the much older Normal Keep, and then take the kids to the stables to see the family-friendly displays of castle life.

There are always lots of animals to see at Ash End House Children's Farm. 
Kids can get hands-on, as they are each given a bucket of animal feed. You can then roam through the animal enclosures and feed them.
There's also pony rides, tractor rides, bottle feeding, egg collecting, and a number of other organised activities.

This is the summit of Big Hill - Staverton Clump, which is part of the Northamptonshire 3 Peaks Hiking Challenge.

Despite this being another highpoint of Northamptonshire, Big Hill summit is on private ground and so you can't get to the top. 
However, there are some roads and footpaths that run near the hill, so to complete this challenge, just take a family selfie with the hill in the background to bag it.

This is the summit of Arbury Hill, which is part of the Northamptonshire 3 Peaks Hiking Challenge.

Despite being a high point of Northamptonshire, Arbury Hill is on private land with a Motocross course on it. 
However, there is a footpath that runs at the base of it, so to complete this challenge, just take a selfie with the hill behind to bag it.

This is the summit of Sharman's Hill, which is part of the Northamptonshire 3 Peaks Hiking Challenge.

There are some footpaths around the hill, but unfortunately, looking at the Ordnance Survey Map, it doesn't look like there are any footpaths up to the summit.  So if you can't get to the top, just take a selfie as close as you can to bag this summit.

Well, this campsite has a theme park!

Drayton Manor Campsite is run by the Camping and Caravanning Club. You can stay at this campsite even if you aren't members of the Camping and Caravanning Club.

A footpath runs right across the top of this hill, so an easy summit to bag.

To bag this summit, the closest you can get is the road that crosses the hill.
