Goodrich Castle
Description

Goodrich Castle was obliterated by mortar shells during the English Civil War from ‘Roaring Meg’. See one of the videos below where they blow up a caravan with a Civil War mortar!!
But despite the damage from the war, Goodrich Castle is still an impressive castle to visit, standing in the countryside above the River Wye.
