Bolsover Castle looks over the Derbyshire castle. More of a 'fancy grand house' than a traditional castle, the building called Little Castle was built to delight and entertained the likes of King Charles I. Now it is full of reproduction furniture which you can touch and even sit on to a closer feel to what it was like to live and visit there. Outside there are plenty of grounds to explore, including a children's play area, and you can even walk along the castle walls.
