Go Ape at the Wyre Forest (one of the country's largest ancient woodlands) has everything you need for some treetop action.

The course has 5 sections, with the longest zip wire being 160 metres.  The highest point is 14 metres.

There are also trails for walking and cycling around the forest.

Worcestershire

We are a family run, family orientated campsite set in the heart of the beautiful Severn Valley, with stunning views and many local walks. 
There are numerous family attractions nearby such as West Midlands Safari Park, The Severn Valley Railway and Go Ape in the beautiful Wyre Forest.

At the weekend we have an open-air Pizzeria, cooking authentic wood-fired pizzas and serving local real ale.
We have a small play area and a family room in the shower block.  
We also have a cafe serving cooked breakfasts, a farm shop and a fishing pool on site.

The West Midlands Safari Park, or WMSP as it is often shortened, is a great place to take the family. But, as with all family attractions of this size, it can be an expensive day out. Go at the wrong time and unprepared, and you may well come away feeling it's not money well spent.


We've just returned from another visit in April and noticed that the prices have risen considerably, so it's even more important to get the most out of your visit.

West Midlands Safari Park

Set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside close to the river town of Bewdley.  Farm-based Glamping in tipis with proper beds.
We provide your group with 2 tipis one for sleeping and one as a lounge with sofas and tables.  Separate dining gazebo and cooking cabin.  We cater for families and groups.  We have 6 sleeping tipis and can cater for groups up to 26.  
We have 2 sites Arley (2 miles from Bewdley) by the river and steam railway and Bewdley near to the West Midlands Safari Park.  Fishing onsite and in the Severn Valley part of the Wyre Forest.  
Both sites have your own showers and loos.

We are a high-quality family run farm attraction situated in the glorious Shropshire countryside near Bridgnorth. Relax and enjoy the wildlife and nature as it was intended: ancient woodlands, winding pathways, wildflowers and ferns.

We also have our very own coffee shop which is open all day, serving freshly prepared refreshments and delicious, naughty treats!

Rays Farm and Woodland Walks

The site itself is actually an untamed ancient orchard that slopes down to woodland and a stream that marks the boundary of our land. You will be camping amongst the wildflowers and the unusual ‘otherworldly’ ant hills that tell us that this land has been undisturbed for centuries.

The opportunities for wildlife ‘safaris’ are endless, from your run of the mill rabbits and more than our fair share of woodland birds to badgers, foxes and muntjac deer roaming around your tent at night, to sightings of fallow deer and buzzards, sparrow hawks and the occasional red kite flying overhead.

We allow campfires, as long as they are off the ground (bring your own fire pit, or you can hire one from us) and we have nets of logs and kindling for sale at our honesty shop, we also sell (amongst other things) locally produced meat for your bbq's (to order) as well as the obligatory marshmallows to toast over the campfire. 

We aim to provide a low impact, sustainable and eco-friendly campsite; it’s a field on a farm, with lots of peace &amp; quiet (although the abundance of wildlife mean that it is anything but quiet), for people who are looking for a real back-to-nature camping experience. Please come and have fun, enjoy a glass of local cider around the campfire but please just be respectful of the other campers and mother nature.

Facilities are basic but comfortable and clean. At the moment, we have 1 composting toilet, 1 gas shower and a covered washing up area. There is no electricity in the campsite and the lighting in the facilities block is solar powered.

The field is a car-free site, which is perfect for families, it’s a short walk from the car park, and we have a fleet of wheelbarrows to ferry your gear. If we're around you may be able to hitch a lift on the quad bike or tractor!

Hidden Valley Camping

Comer Woods is part of the National Trust Dudmaston Estate just outside the historic Shropshire town of Bridgenorth. 
Trails crisscross Comer Woods, which now includes a shared-use Explorer trail that's ideal for family walks or traffic-free bike rides.
