In the early ours of September 28th, 2015, a very rare event occurred.
An Earth-Moon Eclipse.
So, with a clear (and chilly night), I popped outside to get these pictures.
The eclipse happens when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, and perfectly obscures the moon.
And for us, that chilly September night, the UK was in the right spot to see it.
As the Sun’s light passes around the Earth’s atmosphere, the moon takes on a reddish glow. Very eerie.
