In the heart of Cheshire is the ancient Roman town of Chester. This town still has a wall encircling it, which you can walk along, old medieval shops, built on Roman buildings, their remains you can see in the basements, and even a Roman amphitheatre.

There’s plenty of other places in Cheshire too, with forests to cycle and explore, castles and old buildings, and the coast at by the Mersey.

Browse the map and list of places below. Remember to tap the heart next to a place to add it to your Adventure Planner, so you can come back to the details later and plan your trip.
