Lambing on the Farm
Lambing live is fun for the whole family and is a great opportunity for parents and children alike to experience something unique – it’s not often you get to see a lamb being born before your eyes!
If you would like to experience the wonders of lambing first hand, then why not put a spring in your step and come along to Lake Vyrnwy to enjoy a tour of the lambing ‘maternity wing’. With over 2000 pregnant Ewes, you’re sure to see a lamb being born and if you’re lucky, you may even enjoy some hands on experience! You’ll also get the chance to meet Harold, Lake Vyrnwy’s very handsome Welsh black bull. Just be sure to wrap up warm as the lambing sheds can get quite cold and of course, don’t forget your wellies for some fun on the farm!
Please note – as there is a health risk to expectant mothers, we are unable to accommodate them at these events.
