If you are staying in South Shropshire and you have younger kids, or kids interested in animals, then it is well worth an afternoon at Rays Farm near the town of Bridgnorth in Shropshire.
What to See at Rays Farm
As well as a few of the usual farm animals, at Rays Farm you’ll find a massive collection of owls, deer (including Reindeer), red squirrels, geese and ducks.
In fact, as soon as you arrive you walk through a rabbit and duck enclosure.
There’s also a 1.5 mile woodland walk, a great cafe, and a play area with ride on tractors – which our youngest particularly liked.
Here’s a map of things to see at the farm: Download Map.
