One of our gang recently went on a 2 hour trek with the Long Mountain Centre. She really enjoyed it. In fact, we’ll be going back there with more of the gang.
The Long Mountain Centre is located in some beautiful country side, and fantastic to explore from horse back.

Long Mountain Trekking Centre is a family owned & run establishment providing horse riding & livery services to members of the public. At Long Mountain we cater for all levels of riders from people who have never even seen a horse close up to the more experienced of riders.
All trek leaders have BHS Riding and Road Safety Certificates and are first aid trained. First aid kits and mobile phones are taken on all rides leaving the yard.
We take both individuals and families for treks along our woodland & bridleways tracks.
We provide treks for all levels of rider from complete beginners up to very experienced riders wanting to improve their skills.
We offer younger people the opportunity to own a pony for the day, learning what it is like to own a pony

If you want to make a booking please phone and either speak to a member of staff or leave a message on the answer phone for someone to phone you back as we spend more time on the yard than in the office but we will get in touch as soon as possible.

Caution should be taken when driving up the hill some of the road is single track
After approx 4 miles is a cross roads with a telephone box on right and a Church on the left, carry on past the phone box and church round the bend we are the next place on the left over the cattle grid
