Bodmin Railway takes you on a steam powered 13 mile round trip, between Bodmin General (the main station, with free parking), and Bodmin Parkway in one direction (which connects to the main line) and Boscarne Junction in the other.
Special events are also held through out the year, including Paddington Bear, Fireman Sam, and Peppa Pig for the children.
Tickets & Timetable
Passenger trains run daily from May to October, with usually 4 trains a day from Bodmin General to Boscarne Junction or Bodmin Parkway.
When we last checked, for August Bodmin General had departures at 10:30, 11:45, 1pm, 2:15pm, and 3:30 pm.
An all day rover ticket for a family of 2 adults and up to four children was £30. The same family return ticket from Bodmin General to Bodmin Parkway to Boscarne Junction was £25.
