The Milky Way is located in Devon.  North Devon.

No, not the one with all the stars in it.  Not the chocolate bar either.  No, the Milky Way is actually the Milky Way Adventure Park, a family oriented theme park.

Rides

First things first, what are the rides like?

Well, the rides aren’t the main attraction at Milky Way.  There’s a handful of rides at this park, and they may not be open depending on the time of year and time of day.

Cosmic Typhoon

This is the Milky Way’s big coaster, which claims to be the tallest and fastest in Devon.

Riders must be a minimum of 1.2m high.

Big Apple

A smaller cousin to Cosmic Typhoon and is available for smaller members of your family.

Riders must be a minimum of 1.2 high to ride on their own, but can be 0.8m if accompanied by an adult.

Clone Zone

Sticking with the space theme, this is an indoor ride into space, with aliens.

Riders must be a minimum of 1.2 high to ride on their own, but can be 0.8m if accompanied by an adult.

Dodgems

Riders must be a minimum of 1.2 high to ride. However, they run regular sessions for smaller children accompanied by an adult.

Other Attractions

  • There’s a railway that runs around the site.  Take in the views of the North Devon coast.
  • There are a number of slides, ball pit, and soft play.  The Milky Way says they have North Devon’s largest undercover adventure play park, so something to do if it’s raining.
  • Birds of Prey show
  • Archery and Laser Target shooting

Tickets and Opening Times

Under 3s are free.

Adults and children prices range from £7-£12.50 depending on booking online and time of year.

The park opens at different times depending on the time of day: 11 am to 5 pm in the winter, and 10:30 am to 6pm in the summer.
