Although your Sat Nav will direct you over Hardnott & Wrynose Pass we recommend you do not take this route as it is very steep, from J36 on the M6 take the A590 for a few miles then join the A595 towards Barrow-In-Furness. Turn right at the roundabout through Greenodd towards Broughton, carry on Past Ravenglass, still on the A595, take your turning to the right at Holmrook before the Texico Garage (good place to fill up as its the nearest petrol station to us) carry on that road through Eskdale Green, take the left turn towards Boot at the King George pub, past the Buss & miniture railway station, we are now only one mile away, the turning just before the Woolpack Inn.

Woolpack Farm Cottage, Boot, Eskdale Valley, Cumbria.
