Your Dutch Oven lid makes an excellent campfire hotplate for cooking breakfast. Give it a try.

OK, so we won't tell you how to cook a breakfast. ;-)
But you may not have realised that you can use the lid of the Dutch Oven as a hot plate over hot coals.
Just turn it upside down so the handle side is in the hot coals—an instant hot plate.
This cooks breakfasts well.
Including fried bread...
