Making a Rudolf at Christmas Forest School

November 21, 2014

Making a Rudolf the red-nosed Reindeer at Forest School just before Christmas is a really fun thing to do…

The 3 Rudolphs

Just like last year, we popped along to The Wrekin Forest School just before Christmas.

This year, we made three Rudolfs – or is it Rudolphs? – anyway, the one with the red nose.

Painting Rudolph Nose
This is a really fun Christmas decoration to make, and a great that it was using wood and twigs from the forest.  Last year we made Christmas stars out of twigs.

The Rudolphs go well with the Christmas Wreaths we made the previous week with Natural England.

Warm mince pies at Forest School
There were lots of other things to do to at the forest school, as well as warming yourself by the fire with hot chocolate and a warm mince pie!

Look up your local forest school and see what events and activities they have on.

There’s always something to do or make in the woods.
