Making a wooden Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a great activity we did at Forest School. Great fun in the woods in the run up to Christmas.

Making a Rudolf the red-nosed Reindeer at Forest School just before Christmas is a really fun thing to do...

Just like last year, we popped along to The Wrekin Forest School just before Christmas.

This year, we made three Rudolfs - or is it Rudolphs? - anyway, the one with the red nose.

This is a really fun Christmas decoration, and it is a great one that uses wood and twigs from the forest.  Last year we made Christmas stars out of twigs.

The Rudolphs go well with the Christmas Wreaths we made the previous week with Natural England.

Warm mince pies at Forest School

There were many other things to do at the forest school, as well as warming yourself by the fire with hot chocolate and a warm mince pie!

Look up your local forest school and see their events and activities.

There's always something to do or make in the woods.
