Here are a few craft ideas to do with the kids for this Halloween…
Our kids, just like most kids, love Halloween.
They love the dressing up (and the sweets!).
Last year’s Halloween we stayed in a village in the Lake District in an excellent, but very old, cottage (see it here). Despite being away, they still dressed up. We even went to a local cinema to see a Hotel Transylvania and sat in a Pizza Hut, with the kids in their Halloween costumes.
This year we’re expecting to be at home. The kids have already started making their own decorations and costumes.
The youngest first made a ‘monster’ from scrunching up some wall into a ball and sticking on eyes.
Halloween Craft Ideas
There are lots of good Halloween crafts for kids. Here are a few we’ve pulled together.
We particularly liked the milk carton tea lights idea and had a go at creating our own. These turned out really well. Give them a try.
The spider lollypops also look good, and the dead man’s hand filled with sweets is such a simple idea.
In addition to glue and tape, having a number of eyes you can stick on is always handy. You can pick these up easy enough from craft shops or you can get packs of eyes from Amazon.
If you’re not feeling quite so creative, there are some Halloween craft kits on Amazon.
