Are your kids budding Wildlife Watchers?

Wildlife Watchers

One of the things we took out this year was a membership with the Wildlife Trust and joined the Wildlife Watch.

The Wildlife Watch is for children with activity books and magazines, stickers, and a useful Wildlife Watcher’s Handbook.

The picture above shows the bumper pack we received after signing up.

You can register multiple children at each address under the one subscription, which makes it family friendly.

Kids can also record what they’ve spotted on the Wildlife Watch Website to earn awards.

You subscribe to your local Wildlife Trust, so what you get in your activity pack will vary, but will be appropriate for where you live, with local events, news, and nature reserves to go and explore.

Annual membership didn’t cost very much.

If this is something that you think will interest your kids you can find out more about signing up on the Wildlife Trusts Website, where you can find your own local Wildlife Trust and sign-up.

  1. Hi Gav

I work as an events co-ordinator at a fantastically family friendly hotel in Dorset. I’ve been planning children activities this summer and loved reading about orienteering and geocaching on your website. thought you might like to know that the Woodland Trust has great resources available for free on their website with many outdoor activities for children from bug hunting, tree identification, nature art projects all for different ages. thought this might be a good link on your website

    Cheers
